TideTally Support

Email support@gulfbreezeapps.com with your phone model, OS version, TideTally version, and what happened. If a catch saved without tide or wind, tell us whether you were offline and whether location was allowed.

Common questions

A catch has no tide reading.
Tide matching uses NOAA stations on the Texas coast. If you were outside Texas, more than 35 miles from a station, or the station had no prediction for that time, tide is left blank with a note. You can pin a station to a launch spot.
Readings didn’t fill in.
If you were offline, the catch waits in a queue and fills in when you’re back online. NOAA or NWS may also be temporarily down or rate-limiting.
The morning reminder didn’t show.
Check that notifications are allowed for TideTally. Reminders are scheduled on your phone and may arrive a few minutes late to save battery.
Can I move my log to a new phone?
Not in version 1.0.0. Export and sync are planned.
